SEED recently participated in Global Giving’s Accelerator Program, where we were challenged to raise $5000 USD from at least 40 donors in 17 days. We are proud to announce that we surpassed our goal, raising $7688 USD from 75 donors! We have gained permanent status on GlobalGiving’s online fundraising platform. 
Funds raised will be used to help build a library at SEED Junior Academy in Kibera slums, to support the education of our 70+ students there. Check out the campaign here!

Join us for a revitalizing and restoring candlelit all-levels yoga class with live music supporting SEED Junior Academy. We’ll start off with a centering meditation to wake up our body and breath, then flow through some energizing Kundalini and vinyasa yoga. The class will close with restorative holds and a guided meditation to bring us into a deep savasana. After class, bask in the ambient vibes over tea and cookies and the lovely company of each other. Taught by Kasia Kord, Tyler Jackson and Marlene Sammy, with live music by Jennifer Gillmor (cello, flute, didgeridoo, djembe), this unique event is not to be missed!

Kenya Internship
Join SEED Kenya founder, Meghan Bruni, in Kenya this July! This one-month internship will include visits to SEED Junior Academy in Kibera, Nairobi, and SEED’s schools in rural western Kenya. Interns will gain exposure to on-the-ground development issues by working closely with local partners and SEED schools. We will meet our students, evaluate SEED’s programs, and determine future goals. Please email us at seedcanada@gmail.com for more information.
Yoga fundraiser for SEED Junior Academy
Join us on Sunday, December 14th for a yoga class supporting SEED Junior Academy. Taught by Meghan Bruni, Kathryn Bruni-Young and Kate Gillespie with musical accompaniment by Jennifer Gillmor, this class will help keep 60+ children in school in Kibera slum, Nairobi.
